Of some of the ocelot exhibit photos I have seen recently, I would not consider this that bad. They have places to hide, elevation, natural lighting, and harp wire for easier viewing.

I agree as there are some dreadful ones out there and this one is definitely acceptable. It must be a fine line designing zoo habitats for small cats because if the enclosures are too lush then visitors will never see the felines.
