Planckendael - Hyena exhibit

The exhibit for spotted hyenas (Crocuta crocuta) in Planckendael. This exhibit is located in the future African Area of the park and is one of the two former carnivore exhibits for Asiatic lions (Panthera leo persica) and Eurasian wolves (Canis lupus lupus). The lions moved to their new exhibit in 2006 and the hyenas took over for the wolves in 2007. The former lion exhibit is now demolished.
