There are 2 paddocks back to back, one held American bison and the other held Tule elk when this was the North American section of the zoo. There is also a prairie dog exhibit adjacent and what used to be a kit fox exhibit (later fennec fox). Over time there were saurus cranes and then a camel in these exhibits once the bison and elk left. I'm not sure if the fox and prairie dog exhibits are part of the sea lion exhibit footprint too.
@mstickmanp, now that you mentioned american bison used to live in this paddock, i could see european bison, gaur, cape buffalo, banteng, african forest buffalo or other bovinae in here,
