The large aviary for monk vultures (Aegypius monachus) and Western Eurasian griffon vultures (Gyps fulvus fulvus) in Planckendael. The monk vulture is one of the flagship species of the KMDA and one of its main conservation efforts.
This is one of the older exhibits in the park and will in the future be part of the American Area.
