After the crowd began to pile on top of each other we left, and so we didn't spend nearly as much time as I would have liked. However, the problem with all of the best aquariums (Shedd, Georgia, Monterey Bay) is that they are so incredibly busy! Instead of 30-200 acre zoos receiving 2 million visitors a year there are 3 acre areas that are receiving 2 million visitors! Even visiting the Georgia Aquarium on a Monday morning didn't lessen the huge crowds.
