The aviary housing budgerigars (Melopsittacus undulatus) and cockatiels (Nymphicus hollandicus) in the Oceania Area in Planckendael. This is one of the small aviaries spread around the Oceania Area that seem awkwardly placed and do no justice to the otherwise well executed theme.
The Oceania theme in Planckendael opened in 1998 and is one of the most extensive in Europe featuring wildlife from Australia and New Guinea.
