Salt and fresh. I was only at the zoo for about an hour and a half. It was opening day of the exhibit. As I can't stand being in large crowds, I was in the building for less than 5 minutes. What I can saw was that the new exhibit was highly disappointing. The 70s style wood paneling of the old aquarium was still present and as tacky as ever. None of the tanks had settled, especially the large stingray touch tank, which was so cloudy that I'm not sure there were any rays at all in it.

I just found an article that describes the exhibits in the new aquarium. It also mentions the wood paneling. It seems that Flippy the sea turtle is a star attraction.
