Sorry to bring my home zoo into everything, but even though this exhibit would be much better with grass and soil, its an improvement in size from what the new Andean Bear, Joaquin, experienced at Beardsley. Did he perform any stereotypical behavior there? Are there plans to breed him? Sorry for all the questions.
Joaquin was just relaxing in the shaded corner eating his snack whatever it was. unfortunately beardsleyzoofan i couldn't find any zookeepers to ask bout the female they had last year. I would imagine though if they brought him in that she is still there and they plan on breeding them two.
