I remember reading somewhere, probably in a thread on this website, that the Cleveland Zoo had an aquarium with reef sharks and other aquatic animals. Has the zoo discontinued its aquatic exhibits with the aquarium in town or is it maintaining those exhibits?
Unfortunatly, it still has an aquatic section. It's in the old Primate, Cat and Aquatic building. It is the WORST shark tank I have ever seen. Snowleopards review of it was right on. I will say that they have changed out a couple of the smaller tanks along the wall, and the freestanding tanks and that was a small improvement. Nothing worth cheering about. It is assumed that that building will be the next venture to be taken on at CMZ, but there is also Northern Trek, and the entrance. The PCA building is the worst of anything there though. WHEN they eventually do rebuild, there are no plans for keeping the aquatic section.
