Beautiful memories. I got the chance to go snorkeling here back in 2002. Maybe I can find some of the underwater photos I took back then. In the area surrounding the parking lot that overlooks the bay, I observed a pair of wild mongooses that were introduced here years ago, and have caused havoc on the native Hawaiian bird species. The Best Picture Nominee from 2011 "The Descendants" (starring George Clooney) really showcased the beauty of Hawaii well, and also contained an intriguing storyline. Just thought I'd toss that out there.
