Rumbleometer Display

Dec. 7th, 2013.
What is a rumbleometer and what does it do?

It is an instrument that is placed on the sea floor and it monitors volcanic activity. There are quite a few in use near Hawaii, keeping track of potential eruptions as well as earthquakes and other contour line changes in the Earth's crust. Fascinating but true!
