According to the sign, they are on loan during the warm months from Surprise Spring Foundation. I was there as a volunteer was about to hose them down (this was taken just after their shower). I asked her what Surprise Spring Foundation is and she said it is a place in Surprise, Arizona that has several Galapagos tortoises. She really did not know any specifics and as I had never heard of them I tried just now doing a Google and Facebook search, but nothing much came up. Anyone know anything about this foundation?
