Regent Bowerbird Being Hand Fed - Lamington National Park

Aren't there rules about feeding wild animals in a national park?

There are, however this is actually on the private land of O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat which is in the middle of the national park (so they can do what they like) and this is also not me feeding the birds, it is one of the bird guides who apparently have permission to feed the birds certain food (which is sterilised so it won't germinate) at certain times.

You may also have noticed pictures of King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas, Brush Turkeys and Red-browed Finches being fed. This was done by the public (guests staying at the hotel) without supervision, however was only allowed in a certain area and with specific seed.
