Ha! I also bragged to my step-daughter, who spotted this animal, that this was my best Sloth Photo ever! And it was...until our third visit of the week.
Yeah, I remember those cages/aviaries were atrocious for photography, as the sun on the wire made it very hard to get a clear pic, and the size of the mesh didn't help at all.
I agree. Between the mesh size, light intensity and reflection, shadowing, and smudgie glass...this zoo was challenging to photograph for someone with my gear and talent. The mechanics of a camera (where the tech might have overcome the environment) are pretty much beyond my point-shoot-enhance skill set. Beautiful grounds and awesome location though!
