What a menagerie! An ungulate from almost every region in Africa is present in this enclosure it seems! Giant Elands from West Africa, Grant's Zebras from East Africa, Dorcas Gazelles from North Africa, and Nyalas from South Africa! We're only missing Central Africa! ;) Well the Houston Zoo seems to have a nice collection, but the exhibits and the geographic placing seem to be lacking :P

We are only missing the warthogs which aren't seen. Aand at one time I think their Blue Duiker was in here too.

Did they claim this to be a geographical exhibit? Did it say "East African Savannah" anywhere?

Well no, I was just stating. Most "African Savannahs" aren't geographical anyways. I was just stating in general, not just in this exhibit.
