World Of Primates - Red-Fronted Lemur + Crowned Lemur

The one on the right is definitely a male crowned lemur (Eulemur coronatus) and ISIS does list Houston as having 1.0 individuals of this species.

Does Houston Zoo label them as red-crowned lemur? The males do have a reddish crown, but I've never heard that name for Eulemur coronatus before.

I have never heard "red-crowned lemur" for Eulemur coronatus either. The correct name is simply crowned lemur but maybe they think differently in America?

These lemurs were featured on the Nat Geo television show Zoo Confidential and they are Travis a male crowned lemur and Beek a red fronted lemur. These two are exhibited as a pair.

I can clear this up. On my last trip to Houston I happened to take pics of the lemur signs, and the do refer to the animal as just Crowned Lemur.
