There are a couple more photos on the Houston Zoo link below, and apparently the Asian Elephant Habitat is now 3 acres in size. Does anyone know if that is including the 7,000 sq. ft. barn and visitor areas? Clearly zoos in both Dallas and Houston now have top-class elephant exhibits, but it is a pity that other zoos in Texas (San Antonio, Fort Worth, Caldwell, El Paso) all have elephant exhibits that are way too small and badly outdated. Dallas has the best, followed by Houston and Cameron Park, and the other 4 zoos that I mentioned all have subpar elephant enclosures.
