The thing is it is not going to stop anyone. I mean if they have a concealed permit they are likely to think well the gun is concealed, so zoo staff will never know.

This popped up in the Zoo News thing at the bottom of the page today:

Houston Zoo Forced to Remove Disputed No Guns Signs

It is just a matter of time before those guns come out and there is havoc

From a country with very strict gun laws I find it incredible that someone should need to bring a gun into a zoo! I've even heard of people carrying their gun into a church of all places!!

I guess us in the UK are lucky that we don't have any fear of being shot!

How can it possibly be controversial to ask people not to bring weapons to a family attraction? Unbelievable.
