This makes me think of a circus high wire act.
I wonder about the orangs being up there through the Indiana summer... no shade...for forest animals. Of course they can come down, but what will be the long range effects?
When I was at the zoo the orangs were on the wire twice! I am friends with a keeper at Indy and she said that they climb the wire about 5 times a day. And this exhibit brought attendance records to the zoo. This exhibit is not all bad!

IMO there is much that could be great about this experience.
It is not what I believe a zoo exhibit ought to (or can) be and I would have made other decisions if it were my millions of dollars.
But that doesn't mean it's bad
