The one nearer the front is red collared and the one towards the back is rainbow. Anyway, I think the red collared is now a subspecies of rainbow can anyone confirm this?
The Rainbow lorikeet has quite a number of subspecies and the Red-collared is one of them. However, several of the former subspecies are given now species-status.
