Haven't seen Jax in person, but I have seen Woodland Park's and judging by photos (is that allowed in the US--clearly it's not in the UK!) it is the winner by far. Much more lush, better job creating views while hiding mesh and no freakin' Temples!
Woodland Park does a great job at LANDSCAPE immersion. The cultural elements are there, but only in a context that makes sense, and they don't dominate the scene.
