Yes, Michael Jackson used to own an elephant(don't ask me why or how) and he donated Ali to the Zoo.

Michael Jackson recieved Ali from Elizabeth Taylor as a birthday gift. Jacksonville Zoo was chosen because Mr Jackson was impressed with the elephant breeding program being started at the zoo.Breeding at zoo has not been successful because of aging/medical conditions of cows.

At his ranch Neverland in California. Micheal realized how big a male African Elephant was gonna be. When Ali was aged 7, he arrived here in Jacksonville.
Micheal Jackson also had a second elephant named "Baba" thus "Ali-Baba"
Where Baba resides I have no clue.
