A huge individual kept in a curious adjunct to the bobcat enclosure - a roofed aviary-style exhibit but clearly designed for the turtle (or something similar) as it possessed this underwater viewing section.

Ah, that makes sense - but after the penguin enclosure thread, it leads me to wonder how many other Jacksonville exhibits used to be otter exhibits!

The bonobo, gorilla, elephant, giraffe, and African savanna exhibits used to be otter exhibits also.

Or so the legend goes.
