Land of the Tiger - Babirusa/Asian Small Clawed Otters Exhibit

the acorn-shaped, rockwork is a nice touch w/ its groovy, eroded banks. this complex looks like a wonderful addition. can the ASCO move with ease between the pig exhibits like planned? the pig/ASCO exhibits look great! they seem larger than the tiger exhibits probably due to the lack of the tall mesh and rockwork.

Well I heard from a Keeper that the otters were showing aggression to the babirusa, the male was trying to swipe the pigs while the female was trying to hide under the male. It is important to know that the 1st time these two species came out on exhibit was March 7, a day before the exhibit opened to the public. However the last time I went to the zoo it seem like both species were keeping their space from each other.
