Yeah, 1/2 acre sounds correct. I remembered it was less than an acre, but didnt know exactly. In my opinion, the elephants should be moved out, and the Zoo's prolific white rhino herd should take their place. Maybe even open up the next door giraffe and antelope exhibits to create a cool mixed species area as well.
