The Nature Boardwalk opened in 2010 at a cost of $12 million, and does anyone know how successful it has been? Have out-of-town visitors been using it or is it mainly utilized by locals strolling near the free zoo? Do many birds live in the stream? Any thoughts on the addition to the zoo?

This was my favorite part of the zoo. From the boardwalk you get a great view of the city and park. I saw many birds, a couple frogs and some fish when I was there. It is a nice break from the rest of the zoo.
