It definitely lacks a canopy, but overall this exhibit is one of the best in North America for apes. There are 3 outdoor and 3 indoor enclosures for chimps and gorillas.
those exhibits are amazing, i loved them they allow animals, keepers and visitors to enjoy both indoor and outdoor exhibits and all of those are realy nicely built.
i have to add that the keepers are very proffisional and devoted.
i wonder why they cut the grass? it would look even better if the grass was managed naturally, and the gorillas could walk through it finding scatter feeds.
