Humboldt's Penguin pool at Antwerp Zoo Jan 09

oh, it does not seem very huge, do they have also bigger pool somewhere?

I have to agree with your comment,I visited Antwerp Zoo a month ago, this is the only pool they have, but in other place in zoo, in Vriesland, there are three species of pinguins in a very nice exhibit, similar with exhibits in Rotterdam and Berlin Zoo, which is a way better, than that current for Humboldt's pinguins.

The Humboldt's Penguins won't be in this enclosure much longer - they're moving to a brand new pool at Planckendael that should be starting construction any time now. And yes, the Vriesland enclosure for Kings, Gentoos and Macaronis is very nice. And it has a Sea Otter enclosure adjoining, so even better.
