Penguin Pointe (New in 2011)

A covered aviary? Someone needs to tell Little Rock that penguins cannot fly.

My thoughts exactly! I'm assuming there are maybe other species exhibited with them capable of flight. The only explanation for the covering.

I just checked out a couple of press releases, and also my own notes from the review that I typed up, and I'm fairly certain that there are no other species in this exhibit other than the penguins. Perhaps the mesh is there to stop local birds from hovering around and becoming a nuisance by stealing fish?
