Andalas during his stay in Los Angeles

I miss him a lot, and I regret not having a camera because I don't have at least one pic of him. During his stay I went to the LA zoo about 50 times and all I have is one pic of him taken with my cell phone.

This zoo has Sumatran rhinoceros? I wasn't even aware of that! Anyways, have any of the animals bred? How's their habitat?

Andalas (the first Cincy born rhino) lived in Los Angeles for a few years prior to his departure to Indonesia.

Andalas used to sit on his hunches like a giant puppy. He is a wonderful animal and more than a decade after he left the LA Zoo, I still miss him.

@Onychorhynchus coronatus Good question. It seems like it was at least two years. He came from Cincinnati Zoo as a young adult and then went on to Indonesia, where he still lives (I hope?).
