Back in 1985 when I trained in the keepers class, this was a Penguin exhibit. One of my most memorable moments was being in there with them and another keeper for a feeding session. They can be quite affectionate, rubbing against your legs like a kitten. Cape or Black-footed Penguins I believe. Such a crowd drawing moment.
Also used for Capybara at one point as well. I hope I'm not starting to bore anyone reminiscing about each exhibit's past.
