August 2009 - This is the only photo of the two that didn't come out blurry. The male is much smaller than the female and the female is much more vocal than the male.

That's what I said when I saw the two this weekend.
I knew that the zoo will be getting a male soon, but I didn't know it was going to be this fast. Zoogoer thinks that the male is from Philly, as his profile is now missing from the zoo's website.
I was there last Sunday morning (August 2) and the two were very active. They were playing and splashing in the pool then chasing each other around the exhibit then back in the pool then down to where the water forms a small river at the bottom of the exhibit. If you go see them early in the morning, you will not be disappointed.
I will post a photo or two once I get the slides developed and scanned.

Yeah, when I was there it was almost at the end of the day, so they played for while before going to their night quarters, where they also have a small pool.
This is the only good photo I had because all the time I was there they were either running or swimming really fast. Hopefully I'll get better photos next time I go.
I really can't wait till the new Rain Forest of the Americas is built, where they will have a huge exhibit with under water viewing.
Very active on my zoo visit today. At first I was concerned about their pool not being enough water for them, now I see they actually spend maybe even more time out of their pool chasing one another; making whistling and humming sounds.
