The Los Angeles lion pair, especially the lioness, look elderly. Do you know if the zoo has any plans regarding their lions once these die? (e.g. new exhibit)
The pair is indeed old. They are both in their early 20s. There was plans to make a new exhibit back in the late 90's to early 2000's, but nothing has been said yet. Hopefully they do make a new a exhibit once the elderly pair dies, but who knows what will happen.
