Wild Falcon Perched Above The Chacoan Peccary Exhibit

Looks like a red shouldered hawk. The only falcons in Southern California are Peregrines and Kestrels I believe. Not many falcons have red coloration either.

Thank you Otter Lord, but as I explained under another gallery photo, this is what the crowd standing there were pointing and saying, "look at the falcon." My first initial thought was hawk as well, and I should have stated such. My apologies. :confused::rolleyes::o:)
