Los Angeles Zoo 2003 - Bairds Tapir exhibit

Thanks to LA locals, I am able to confirm this to be the Bairds Tapir exhibit.

Yup, Baird's Tapir exhibit. The tapir is now living behind the scenes and this is now the Maned Wolf exhibit.

Before the arrival of the Giant Otters, there was talk of removing the wall between the two exhibits(the Giant Otters now temporarily occupy the former Maned Wolf space), Maned Wolves and Baird's Tapirs. Creating a mixed exhibit. Of course, until the Otters are relocated after the completion of Rainforest of the Americas, their new home in a couple of years, those plans have definitely been put on hold.
