In 2003 there were just these three males, but since acquiring females to the herd they've been breeding like rabbits.

Well, three males kept together without female company for years, then once they got females with them ... don't know about you but the breeding success doesn't surprise me! ;)

If they're breeding so well, how's about sending some over for us poor Chacoan Peccary-starved Europeans, eh? :D

... and put Gerenuks, Black Duiker, Grantgazelles, Black footed Ferrets in the Transport as well :)
(Not to mention a few Masai Giraffes for the Basle Zoo, to keep the population alive in Europe).
