At least they are finally doing something useful with that no-mans-land that was Treetops Terrace. For as long as I can remember (and I grew up going to that zoo) it was just a big empty nothing.

I agree, although that whole area is not finished yet. I believe there is still plans for a new events area and I've even heard of the possibility of a new restaurant up there.
Overall, I really like the way the structure turned out and that about 95% of the animals in the carousel are animals found in the zoo!
