Was this going to be a beaver exhibit? It looks like a beaver lodge, but I can't make out what the critters in the background are supposed to be. A beaver exhibit would have been cool as we don't have any AZA zoos with beavers in California.
Hi David, Yes the concept was going to be a walk in beaver lodge with cameras in there den and a periscope that would actually be a DVD of beavers swimming. Praire Dog pop up was on the right side. There were two other good beaver exhibits that I know of - Minnesota Zoo and Bio Dome are my favorites. Exhibit got cut due to budget.
