Arizona Docent 8 Jan 2010 Yes, that is amazing. Most of the L.A. primate cages are not photo friendly at all.
mstickmanp 8 Jan 2010 Thanks! It was hard photographing them, but I was lucky in that there was good lighting that day.
DavidBrown 26 Oct 2011 Have the blue-eyed lemurs left the zoo does anyone know? Their old exhibit now has a sifaka in it and the current exhibit has a sign saying that the exhibit is "temporarily closed". Also, is it true that these guys are the only blue-eyed primate other than humans? Update: It looks like they are. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19278018

mstickmanp 26 Oct 2011 I'm not sure, I didn't check their exhibit last saturday. Hopefully they are still there, they are one of my favorite species.

DavidBrown 28 Oct 2011 @mstickmanp: how did you get such a clear shot without the cage obstructing you? This is a truly beautiful shot.
