Baby Royal Antelope and Red-flanked Duiker

Yes he is. Like I stated elsewhere, my initial thought, as it darted behind the shelter, was that it was an Agouti!
 
Question for you, blackduijer: knowing what your congeners (!) can get up to in terms of seeking protein, in your opinion is this youngster totally safe?

You mean the fact that duikers also include small birds and mammals in their diet on occasion? I guess that could be a problem if the keeper staff were to go on strike, and the animals would be left on their own to search out food sources. Other than that, the duiker and youngster seem to get along just fine. :)
