March 2009-There is more to the left and right of the exhibit that is not visible. This exhibit may be smaller than most around the US, but I think it's great for the lesser apes. The gibbons have many things to climb and lots of enrichment, and I've always seen the gibbons being active and vocal. The zoo has two more exhibits with buff-cheeked gibbon groups. There are times when the three gibbon groups, the siamangs, African fish eagles, and stellers sea eagles all start vocalizing at the same time.
