Although the exhibit was incredibly outdated and I am sure these elephants will be gone from the zoo soon, I did enjoy having the opportunity seeing an Asian elephant right next to an African one and compare their differences.

Waste of Time and Money ! Much like the Buffalo Zoo Louisville is making a weak attempt at keeping its Elephants.Its a real shame because Louisville has a lot of unused available space and if they could just put together a smart fundraising plan and build a state of the art African Savannah Region either with or without Elephants it would elevate this zoo to another level.They did a great job with fundraising when it came to Glacier Ridge and that resulted in a award winning exhibit.
