There really is an eagle aviary inside the giraffe house, but unfortunately it was closed on the day of my visit. Totally bizarre!

I have seen both Steller's Sea and Bateleur Eagle in here. Obviously the sea eagles have a new habitat, and for a long time, the eagle habitat was unoccupied. I don't remember what was in there on my last visit, but now that I have moved away, it'll be a while before I find out.

I remember seeing Sea Eagles in here even after the new habitat was built.

That's odd. I sometimes skipped this house just for the sake of time. By any chance, have you seen elephant shrews in here? They're one of my family's favorites.

Nope, the sign in the kopjie was removed. Now it's just hyraxes, and a pygmy falcon.

Aw :(. Pygmy falcon isn't that bad though, I don't think I've ever seen one (and if I have, I was young and forgot)
