Yeah, the old mock-rock syndrome for zoo designers. To be honest I think that naturally Detroit has the #1 polar bear exhibit in North America, San Diego's is #2 even though it is mainly fake...and maybe either Toldeo or Memphis at #3. This one in the photo is of course mainly fake, but the 3 polar bears were the most active I have ever seen and the pool is nice and deep.
