Of the three panda areas I've seen in my life, I'd put this one in the middle. National Zoo's giant panda habitats are easily the best I've seen, while Memphis' exhibit I found to be better than the pair of dirt yards I saw in San Diego. That said, despite being the stars of this complex (and possibly in all of Memphis Zoo), I found the panda habitat to be surprisingly average at best; I was expecting more.
