Memphis Zoo definitely goes all out when it comes to entrance areas. The actual entrance to the zoo is a spectacular Egyptian creation; CHINA has red pagodas and huge statues; Cat Country continues with the Egyptian theme; Northwest Passage has the fantastic totem pole plaza; and both Teton Trek and Zambezi River Hippo Camp have eye-catching entrance zones. I love it!
I love it too, especially Cat Country. I mean the whole complex, not just the entrance. Seeing ten species of big and small cats in one area in all natural exhibits is a dream come true for me!
