This indoor exhibit is in the casino of this giant hotel in Las Vegas. It features a walk-through tunnel through the African lion area. The lions are rotated regularly and live off-site when not on exhibit. It is a free attraction, and although the casino is open 24 hours, the lions are not out 24 hours.

Yes, the lion keepers are very hands-on with these lions and do interpretive behavior programs inside. I'm sure they are all hand raised!

I seem to miss this exhibit everytime I'm in Vegas. I've seen the White Tigers and Dolphins at some of the other hotels but always seem to ignore this one. Even when I've eaten at the MGM Grand! A must do the next time I'm there.

As of 2011 this exhibit no longer exists. Perhaps the site administrators can add the modifier (CLOSED) to this gallery?
