What happened to those wonderful alligators that called this exhibit home? Did they leave because of accreditation loss? I remember when they built this enclosure out of what used to be another reptile enclosure. There was much hype about the coming gators. Sad to see them gone.
Now this space has been split into two seperated enclosures that houses scarlet ibis and bamboo partridges.
To correct my thinking, I am told that the alligators left due to the sensitivity the gators had with the innapropriate water quality in the enclosure. (something they could't fix apparently)
