ZOO Antwerpen - Carnivore exhibit (Raccoon)

The exhibit for northern raccoons (Procyon lotor) in ZOO Antwerpen. A decent exhibit for the animals but horrible from a visitors point of view.

The Carnivore exhibits were originally built for big cats and bears as part of the Jubilee Complex which opened in 1968 to celebrate the zoo’s 125th anniversary (also including the Nocturama, Aquaforum and Bird of Prey Aviaries). The bears and lions have already received new exhibits and the tigers and leopards are next in line.
