@jbnbsn99: That white giraffe is one of our female giraffes Rahna. On her info sign in front of the exhibit, it doesn't give any information about her odd color, but I'm pretty she's a reticulated giraffe, just a different color variant.
This exhibit looks much better than the 1987 exhibit that Hix recently posted a picture of where the exhibit is a narrow shelf of land fronted by a massive moat: http://www.zoochat.com/583/giraffe-enclosure-271509/.
Does anybody know if the current exhibit is a remodel of the old exhibit with the moat filled in, or is it a completely different space? I can't really tell from the photo above.
It is a remodel of the old exhibit. They added a platform where you can feed the giraffes, filled in the moat (for the most part) and updated the holding area.
